AGB – General Terms and Conditions
The Act on the Regulation of the Law of General Terms and Conditions (GTC Act) serves to protect consumers by controlling the content of pre-formulated contractual terms.
General Terms and Conditions
- 1 Applicability to entrepreneurs and definitions of terms
(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us as the supplier (Joergensen Living) and a consumer in the version valid at the time of the order.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (Section 13 BGB).
- 2 Conclusion of a contract, storage of the contract text
(1) The following provisions on the conclusion of contracts apply to orders placed via our online store www.joergensenliving.com.

(3) The presentation of the goods in our online store does not constitute a legally binding contractual offer on our part, but is merely a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods.
By ordering the desired goods, the consumer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.
(4) Upon receipt of an order in our online store, the following regulations apply: The consumer submits a binding contract offer by successfully completing the order procedure provided for in our online store.
The order is placed in the following steps:
1) Selection of the desired goods
2) Confirm by clicking on the “Order” button
3) Checking the details in the shopping cart
4) Press the “Checkout” button
5) Entering personal data
6) Binding submission of the order by clicking on the button “order for a fee” or “buy”
Before submitting the binding order, the consumer can return to the website on which the customer’s details are recorded and correct input errors or cancel the order process by closing the Internet browser by pressing the “Back” button contained in the Internet browser used by him after checking his details.
We confirm receipt of the order immediately by means of an automatically generated e-mail (“order confirmation”).
With this we accept your offer.
(5) Storage of the contract text for orders via our Internet store: We will send you the order data and our GTC by e-mail.
You can also view the GTC at any time at www.thedanishgirl.de.
For security reasons, your order data is no longer accessible via the Internet.
- 3 Prices, shipping costs, payment, due date
(1) The prices quoted are in EURO (€) and include statutory VAT (19%) and other price components.
Any shipping costs may be added.
(2) The consumer has the option of paying by Paypal and prepayment / bank transfer (see “Payment + shipping + revocation”).
(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay in advance, he undertakes to pay the purchase price immediately after conclusion of the contract.
- 4 Delivery
(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items offered by us are ready for immediate dispatch.
Delivery will be made within 7 working days at the latest for shipments to Germany.
In the case of payment in advance, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is sent to the bank responsible for the transfer and, for all other payment methods, on the day after the contract is concluded.
If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday at the place of delivery, the deadline shall end on the next working day.
(2) The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the item sold shall not pass to the buyer until the item is handed over to the buyer, even in the case of sale by dispatch.
- 5 Retention of title
We reserve title to the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.

Estimated delivery time: We endeavor to deliver the products to our customers within a reasonable time.
The estimated delivery time may vary depending on the product and destination.
We will inform you of the estimated delivery time as soon as you place your order.2-year guarantee: We offer a 2-year guarantee on our products.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions that occur during normal use.
Damage caused by misuse, improper use or unauthorized repairs are excluded from the warranty.
If you notice a problem with your product within the warranty period, please contact our customer service for assistance.Payment information: When placing the order, we ask you to provide your payment information.
Please note that the amount will only be debited from the cardholder’s card once the product has been dispatched by our company.
Payment will only be made when the item is ready for dispatch.
Cancellation policy
A large part of the range on offer here is handmade or second-hand goods (described as “VINTAGE” in the item description)
And even if the products are selected and checked very carefully, minor irregularities cannot always be ruled out. We make every effort to illustrate and describe all product details – but we are also happy to send further pictures of the item on request.
If you are still not completely satisfied, you can of course return the item within 14 DAYS of receiving the goods:

and get your money back.
For a smooth return process and to comply with the withdrawal period, please inform us of your decision to withdraw by email to hello@joergensenliving.com within 14 days of receiving the goods.
It is not necessary to give reasons (but it helps us to do better next time!).
Please pack the goods carefully and return them the same way you received them.
(To return goods that have been sent by a forwarding agent, please contact me via the contact form, by email or by telephone so that I can arrange a collection date with the forwarding agent).
If you then provide us with the consignment number, the allocation of your return and the refund of your payment will be even faster.
To comply with the withdrawal period, the goods must be returned immediately, but no later than 30 days from the date of withdrawal.
The costs for the return shipment are to be borne by the buyer.
They will not be refunded.
The postage paid when ordering will be refunded together with the purchase price.
The refund of the payment made, including the delivery costs, will be made using the originally selected means of payment as soon as the notification of withdrawal is received, but within 30 days at the latest.
We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that the goods have been returned, whichever is the earliest.
Of course you can and should take a close look at the item – but please handle it carefully to avoid damage.
In the event of any loss in value of the goods that is attributable to handling by the buyer that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functionality of the goods, we will charge the loss in value.

SHIPPING
PAYMENT
You can pay for your purchase in advance, by SEPA bank transfer, Paypal or with your credit card.
Alternatively, you can pay on site in cash or with a debit card when you collect your order from the store.
SEPA transfers are processed via Paypal – but you do NOT need your own Paypal account for this.
When paying by prepayment/bank transfer, please state your invoice number and your name as the reason for payment.

SHIPPING
PACKAGE SHIPPING:
Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the ordered items and are displayed in the shopping cart before completing the order. We typically use UPS for package shipping. The shipping costs include the applicable VAT and may consist of both shipping and packaging fees.
FREIGHT SHIPPING:
For large items, such as sofas or other oversized products, delivery is done via a freight service. In these cases, we collaborate with a freight partner. Delivery can take up to 14 days, depending on availability and arrangements. Delivery is made to the curbside of the destination address, unless otherwise agreed.
